Hurghada City Council

Is in the middle of an ambitious scheme to provide a major face lift to a part of the town as part of their ongoing efforts to beautify the city.

The new scheme currently underway and expected to be completed by the end of this year, entails replanning the famous Villages Road (which goes all the way to Safaga and the south),

and where most of the four and five star resorts are located. The new plan, when finished, will have created an attractive pedestrian walkway all along the road with a number of outlets such as coffee and shisha shops, restaurants, supermarkets and fast food outlets. The paved central area will offer shade and greenery and more points of attraction and entertainment for visitors.
