Liquidskin is the first bi-silicone mask worldwide. As its name implies, Liquidskin adapts perfectly to almost any facial shape. Until now masks have been limited by the balance being required between two different elements: the need for a certain stability to create a sufficient seal and the need for a softer and smoother type of silicone for enhanced comfort.
Now the Liquidskin bi-silicone technology changes everything. The frame rests on a semi-hard type of silicone, about 30 % harder than traditional silicone,which considerably improves stability. Sealing against the face and an incredibly comfortable fit is achieved by an ultra-soft and highly elastic type of silicone. Compared to normal silicone, it is about 45% softer and 270% more elastic. The two silicone components are fused together inseparably.
As well as allowing a better fit and improved comfort, other advantages include an increase in adaptation to different facial shapes, easier compensating and a lower pressure meaning less red marks! The two types of silicone can also be dyed differently, which allows new, attractive colourings for the skirt.
Other benefits of the Liquidskin were adopted from the best-selling mask X-Vision: the unrestricted field of vision; the central position of the eyes and the optimal angle of the lenses in particular, contribute to a field of vision which is truly unusual for diving masks. The easy-adjusting buckles are ergonomically positioned directly on the skirt (and not as usual on the frame). The minimal internal volume and the extremely low weight of the mask are additional features.
