Coming to Red Sea for 1st time in April. What's the water temp? Need to know which suit to pack.

Also, if I get extra luggage allowance for the way out does that also count for the return or will I have to pay excess baggage to bring my kit home?

I come to the Red Sea all the time. In April you will find the water is around 22 degrees. I always use a 3mm shortie but people do accuse me of being too hardy and I see a lot of divers in 5mm long one-piece suits but you won't need any more than that.
