I was very pleasantly surprised when I went shopping in Hurghada to be given my goods in a paper bag. I had been expecting plastic but I was told that there was an order from the local Governorate that these are no longer allowed. It seems they have implemented a paper bag scheme as a way to help protect the environment. Well Done Red Sea.
