Fire Destroys Liveaboard

At approximately 02.00 on 30 January 2010, MY Typhoon caught fire whilst at dry dock in Suez.  All work had been completed on MY Typhoon and she was due to begin her journey back to Sharm that morning.  The fire continued until approximately 23.00 the same day spreading to several other boats stationed nearby and completely destroying MY Typhoon.  No one has been injured during this incident.

Alternative arrangements for all existing bookings on MY Typhoon are being made and customers will be contacted within the next few days to reconfirm their reservation.

Typhoon has given many happy memories to clients and staff alike and will be missed within the fleet.  Plans are already in process to expand the fleet once again and the Tornado Marine Fleet management hope to be announcing a new arrival in the near future.
